Question by killdurst: Is there a web application like Wikipedia I can deploy on my Intranet?
This web application would allow my colleagues to share knowledge by editing the pages in the wiki. If there’s an app out there that’s free, can be deployed on Windows, or can run in Tomcat, that’d be great. Thanks!

The software Wikipedia runs on is available free and open source – it’s called MediaWiki. It should be compatible with most web server configurations.

Tiddlywiki is a purely HTML and Javascript-based Wiki page that works on any operating system. It is similar to Wikipedia, and it has addon support and themes.
